Elevated scents with a purpose..

About Liberated Ascent

Liberated Ascent was created by Liberty Cordova in Los Angeles, California. Born because she wanted to create safe, genderless scents that are free of synthetic fragrances, phthalates, parabens and other chemicals. Each ingredient is consciously and ethically sourced using some of the safest USDA Certified Organic and Wildcrafted ingredients from around the world. We believe in supporting sustainable farming and sourcing from companies that provide complete transparency with the purity of each individual oil, using their lab tested results from farm to distillery to find the most non-toxic ingredients we can find. Each bottle is consciously handcrafted and bottled with love.

When it comes to the power of plants, less is more.  Most of us think about what goes into our body, but often forget about what goes on our body. Your skin is the largest organ in your body and what you absorb is just as important as what you take in. Liberated Ascent is raising the bar and leading the way in the new standard of product transparency, ingredient integrity, and quality without compromise. By choosing Liberated Ascent you can have a more personal and subtle experience, as well as using them as a tool that can help improve mood management, emotional support, and may even contribute to improving your overall physical health. The best scents are truly all around us in their purest form in nature, so we decided to blend them, hand bottle them and bring them to you. Smell incredible, feel great, safely.

OuR Mission

At Liberated Ascent, we want you to enjoy your favorite elevated plant essences along with all the benefits by providing safe and ethically sourced products to liberate yourself from exposure to harmful chemicals. Avoiding chemicals can mean a reduced risk of serious health issues. Liberated is raising the bar with our products and informing our customers about how to smell good, safely, and in moderation.

Wearing the essence of each plant in its purest form, sourced from nature, has a long history of ways they can contribute to our overall health. Synthetic fragrances are quickly becoming outdated as we discover how truly harmful they can be and customers continue to seek out full transparency. By choosing Liberated Ascent, you can Liberate yourself and others from all the unnecessary chemicals. Each small change in the products you choose can make a difference in helping you in your ascent towards better health.

We at Liberated Ascent want to do our part and are always striving to do better for the planet and for the people, that’s why Liberated Ascent is now an affiliate of Pact Collective. Pact is a non-profit collective creating more sustainable beauty packaging systems. Together we work to reduce, recycle, educate, innovate, and drive towards circularity.

Each year, 120 billion cosmetic packages are created globally, and only a fraction ever gets recycled. Most are landfilled, incinerated, dumped on communities or littered, eventually ending up in the ocean. The global plastics and packaging problem is broader than the beauty industry, but beauty has a unique problem: Most of the packages are too small to be caught by Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs). Plastic that is smaller than a yogurt cup, packing that is flexible (like squeezable tubes) and packages that are mixed materials are all highly unlikely to be recycled at the MRF. Think of all of those little jars, tubes, caps and pumps... headed for the trash.

So how does Pact work?

  1. Finish up your beauty products (dump any unused product into the garbage). Rinse or wipe clean the package. Ensure it is truly empty, as packages with product left inside go to the incinerator, not on to be recycled!

  2. Check out the Pact takeback guidelines (pactcollective.org) to learn where this specific package belongs--in the Pact bin, in home recycling, or in the trash

  3. Visit a participating Pact location and toss the Pact-OK clean empties into our collection bin

How does Pact collect hard-to-recycle packaging? Pact has two collection channels, both of which end up with our specialty sorting/recycling partners:

  1. In-Store Collection Program, where we collect packages in a large bin in our retail partner’s locations, and ship when it's full, and

  2. By-Mail Collection Program, where the end-user ships packaging to the sorting facility.
